It was a Festive Christmas party for a insurance company this past weekend.
The Dj had them dancing and cutting up on our very large dance floor. The vast array of cuisine kept them full to the gills!! They never knew what to expect with the Chef/Owner continually getting them to try some Lagniappe creations that he has come up with. Can't wait till next year to do it again. Courtyard on the Ridge a New Orleans French Quarter themed facility with hand made appetizers!!!

New Orleans Christmas Party
This past Saturday was a great time for a Christmas party for a Oil Business. Their guests danced into the night with DJ Corey with his video and light show. They dined on Smoked Salmon, Courtyard Catfish, Oyster Blues to name a few. It was great to see the guests out their on the dance floor line dancing to their favorite tunes. They really enjoyed the elevated dessert station and Gourmet Coffee Station. We can't wait till next years party to have another great time.

Christmas Parties
What a great time to have the Federal Courthouse have their Christmas party at Courtyard on the Ridge. They had a vast menu to enjoy along with a toys for tots program that is very thoughtful for the kids that could be without. From B.B.Q. Shrimp with Grits, Seared Ahi Tuna, Chicken and Sausage Gumbo to their carving station and Gourmet Dessert Station what a feast for all.

Wedding Reception Jenny & Paul
What a great time the guest of Jenny & Paul had at Courtyard on the Ridge.

The wedding cake was a Pumpkin Cake that was outstanding!!! The grooms cake was a luscious Chocolate Decadence. Don't look for any left over because they devoured them. They really enjoyed the Grillades and Grits, Courtyard Catfish Tenders,Prime filet bites with port demi were just a few of the items served. So now is the time to finalize your upcoming 2012 wedding reception before your date is gone.

Double Surprise Birthday Party for Mike & Mike
What a surprise it was as the two birthday honoree's Mike & Mike celebrated their 50th.
Their wives totally fooled them into thinking they were going to a surprise party which they were except they were the ones surprised!!!
There guests not only got to enjoy the party but an LSU lopsided win Go Tigers.
They had a customized menu that their guest truly enjoyed.
And they danced the rest of the evening until it was time to leave.

We had a Super Sweet Sixteen Party at Courtyard on the Ridge for Alexis and Jasmine .
From the linens to back lighting to lighted center pieces for there purple color scheme the girls were happy with the ambiance that they dreamed of having for their very special night.
The ballroom had lasers beating to the music along with a fog machine.
This enticed their guests to get out on the dance floor and let it go!!

We had a ceremony in the Courtyard and then the guests enjoyed the reception in the ballroom.
The Pecan Smoked Salmon was there savory favorite!

The Chocolate River was a big hit with everybody as they got to choose different chocolates to dip their favorite fruit, cookies, marshmallows in to.
this went well with there champagne that flowed throughout all of their friends that did a toast to the beautiful couple.

Surprise Birthday Party
It was a Great surprise for Riddley's birthday celebration with friends and family.
The ballroom was back lit with purple led lighting to show his passion for LSU.
His friends danced the night away to his favorite tunes.
And they enjoyed Fried oysters, catfish, gumbo and potato salad were among some of the items that were served.
The specialty wines that were served to his guests was also a hit.

Courtyard on the Ridge
What a gorgeous day this past Saturday afternoon was for a New Orleans fall wedding. From the cake to decorations it was a Fleur de lis theme throughout at Courtyard on the Ridge.
Mr. Randon was the photographer. They had black linens on their guests tables to coordinate with their saints theme. Their wedding and grooms cakes with accented with Fleur de lis to keep with this theme. The ring bearer came up and told an attendant to tell the chef that was the best food he ever ate!! Well we are sure appreciative to hear that, we take pride in cooking from scratch. We are glad that the rest of the guests felt that way also.

New Orleans Christmas Party

Brandi & Jovan Wedding
What a beautiful Saturday was for a special day.
The bride was as a story book could only describe and the groom in his white tuxedo was there to rescue her for the rest of their lives together .
Their purple linens and chair sashes coordinated with the silver candle lit centerpieces touched off the facility.
What a great time to be with family and friends on this wonderful occasion.
They danced and partied the whole time only taking their break to eat the New Orleans cuisine.
All the way to the end with their Second Line strut thru the large ballroom.

Ceremony Rehearsal
We are doing a Rehearsal Ceremony for Brandi and Jovan. Going through the entire procession and ceremony with their bridal party. Everyone is very excited about the big day tomorrow. They

Dee said how can you beat a one stop shop, all she did was call Bill at Courtyard on the Ridge and everything else was taken care of for her. She also liked that there were the decorations for their pictures.

Church Anniversary Banquet
The congregation came to Courtyard on the Ridge to have their Anniversary Banquet honoring their pastor. They enjoyed a traditional New Orleans style buffet.
There evening was filled with music from a pianist accompanied with several singers.
The facility color coordinated the linens and chair ties to there event.
What a beautiful way to honor your pastor with a New Orleans themed location,
along with their fresh cooked food.

Military Wedding New Orleans Courtyard on the Ridge
What a beautiful day it was for a ceremony with Groom dressed in his military uniform, and the Bride was gorgeous in her dress and her love for her husband surely showed in her expression.
After the ceremony and pictures they danced to their favorite song and truly enjoyed their reception with family and friends.
They know that at any time he would have to leave to go back overseas. That really helps to make these memories very special.

Perfect Wedding Reception
Remarkable how Courtyard on the Ridge is extremely accommodating to all of your needs and will even go as far as a do-it-all one-stop shop from cake to DJ to recommending a photographer/ videographer. The expert staff picked out my cakes all the way to the cuisine options, I am amazed at how stress-free the process was for me!
Featuring uniquely styled spaces; open-air, lighted New Orleans Style courtyard with water fountain décor; their experienced coordinators helped me design the wedding of my dreams with the style and panache my husband and I felt we deserved!
As far as the big day goes:
From the champagne greeting, Courtyard on the Ridge creates a WOW effect that made every moment memorable.
The bridal room was the perfect getaway for me to escape from the constant fury of friends and family trying to get in their congrats. I was able to relax on the couch and touch up my make-up and hair while one of the staff brought me a glass of champagne.
They also have a bridal party room where the bridal party and us can eat in privacy when we arrive.
I enjoyed escaping into a romantic niche they have with eloquent décor for my husband and I to take a few picture with our photographer.
Thanks to the award-winning chef, the menu was everything I could imagine plus more! The food was all prepared with fresh ingredients, there were never frozen items passed around there!
Staff was quick to clean up finished plates and empty cups without asking or even thinking.
The champagne and boxes of food to take with us back to our honeymoon suite was perfect for a late night snack (and breakfast the next morning!)
I still cannot understand how cost effective my reception was for the value I received. It was a five star glamorous event that my guests have not stopped raving about. I felt like a Queen on our wedding day and I know my Husband felt like Royalty himself!
